VISION
DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar envisions to create a citadel of endless learning for inquisitive minds to shoulder the responsibilities of global community and it aims to produce a Centre of Excellence by providing an environment of joyful learning, nurturing the innate potential of the learners by empowering them to overcome the upcoming challenges.

The school has grown from its humble beginning in the year 1989 with 90 students from LKG to Std II and 7 teachers in the FR quarters in Sailashree Vihar under the inspiration of the pioneers of DAV Movements like Dayanand Saraswati, Mahatma Hansraj, and the then committed souls of Odisha like the Governor A.N. Khosla, the Founder Chairman Er. B.C. Pattnaik and many other well wishers.
The current building was inaugurated in 1992 by the then Honorable Chief Minister of Odisha Shree Biju Pattnaik, imbibing the essence of prosperity. In the year 1995 the school was honored by the then Governor C. Rangarajan for spreading the scout movement in Odisha which was a maiden honor received by the school. The same year on 15th Aug the school was conferred with the Chief Minister running shield for best marching contingent in non NCC category .Ever since, the school has been maintaining the legacy by receiving this prestigious award either in the form of championship or runner’s up .Endorsing to the glory of the school in 1996 , the school bagged Mahatma Hansraj award by DAV CMC for promising endeavor in the field of education . The very 1st batch of std X in 1997 and the 1st batch of std XII in 1999 appeared for the board exam with 100% results. The present eminent stature is a resulting effect of Inspirations and aspirations of millions of our stake holders.
Spreading over 7 acres of land, with more than 4000 students and 250 dedicated staff members this temple of Learning has fortified a promising platform to unfold multiple intelligence and opportunity and diversity to address different potentialities among the students through holistic education of national standard. As the custodian of our students’ dreams and aspirations, the School is committed to provide the best nurturing environment for our students in order to learn, grow, strive towards excellence and achieve their goals. Our Co-Curricular Programmes are designed to develop our students to be dynamic, future-ready individuals in pursuit of excellence.
